Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Coretex CRM ("we") collects when you use the Desk Keeper app and this website, and what we do with it. In short: your files stay on your PC.

What stays on your PC

• Desk Keeper works on your computer. It looks at file names, sizes and dates, and reads the first pages of documents to recognize them (for example, as an invoice).
• File names, file contents, folder names and what Desk Keeper learns about how you tidy are never sent to us or anyone else.
• Your settings, undo history and license file are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DeskKeeper on your PC.

What the app sends to our server

• License checks (Pro only): your license key, a one-way code derived from your PC's Windows ID (it can't be turned back into the ID), your PC's name and the app version. We use this to count how many PCs a license is used on, and to stop keys being shared.
• Update checks: the app downloads a small list of available versions from this website. Like any web request, our host sees your IP address.

This website

• We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. The buy page uses one session cookie to protect the form.
• Pages load the Inter and Mulish fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when you visit.

When you buy Pro

• We store your name, email address, the order and payment IDs, your receipt number and your license key, so we can send you the key, help if you lose it, and handle refunds.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to the payment.
• We send you the license key by email. We don't send marketing emails.

How long we keep it

Order and license records are kept as long as the license exists and as required for tax and accounting law. Website logs and rate-limit records are deleted automatically after a short time.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (where the law allows) by writing to support@coretexcrm.com. Deleting your data also deactivates your license.
