Desk Keeper is a Windows app made by Coretex CRM, a software business based in India, run by Mr.Meraj.

What Desk Keeper does

Desk Keeper tidies folders that fill up over time, like Downloads, Desktop and Documents. It sorts loose files into folders by type and month, and Desk Keeper Pro can also follow your own rules, clear out duplicate copies and old installers, and put documents such as invoices and receipts into their own folders.

Why we made it

Folders collect installers, screenshots, invoices and copies of the same file, and sorting them by hand takes time. Many people also worry about letting an app move or delete their files. So we built Desk Keeper to be careful:

  • You see a preview of every change before anything moves.
  • Files aren't deleted straight away. Removed files wait in a hidden quarantine folder for 30 days.
  • Every clean can be undone for 30 days.
  • Your files stay on your PC. File names and contents are never uploaded.
